TUNNEL CONTAINER CEMENT MIXER STORAGE
A Glasgow based company who specialise in the fabrication of cement mixers required two new 40ft tunnel containers. These containers were for storing the materials and paint that are used in the manufacture of their products.
A double insulated and weatherproof personnel door was installed in the 40ft side of one container, and three double insulated and weatherproof personnel doors installed in the 40ft side of the other container. Each container had lighting installed, and this included four 5′ twin anti-corrosive light fittings and switches, a distribution board and an external blue single phase commando socket was also included. Four 45 degree louvered vents were installed to improve air flow and condensation prevention. 3mm Durbar floor was overlaid on the existing marine ply floor of one of the containers, this was stitch welded with sealed joints. High security steel lockboxes were fitted to all cargo doors on each container.
